The King in Yellow is a two-act play, a gothic fantasy, penned at an unknown time by an unknown author. Details of the plot and themes are obscure. It was thought lost in the fire that consumed the theatre on the night of its first and only public recital. It is said to be cursed.  We have obtained the sole surviving manuscript of this sinister text, and we will not let urban legends of insanity, possession, and eldritch gods get in the way of a good show.  Preparations have been made.
